Card Album Expansion Pack is not a standalone plugin. It requires Card Duel System v1.2.0 or newer. Its main configuration is created with Card Duel Studio v1.5.0 or newer, which is included with the main Card Duel System product.

Plugin Overview

What is an Expansion Pack?

An Expansion Pack, or EP, is an optional add-on created to extend Card Duel System with a focused new feature. It uses the cards, languages, artwork, and project information already managed by Card Duel Studio, then adds its own configuration tools and runtime functionality.

Expansion Packs do not replace or include the main Card Duel System plugin. They are designed for developers who want to expand their card game with additional systems while keeping everything connected to the same Studio project.

Plugin Details: Card Album Expansion Pack

Card Album Expansion Pack gives players a beautiful place to browse the full card collection from your Card Duel System project. The Album is presented as an animated three-dimensional book with page turns, card slots, camera movement, and an inspection view.

Cards can have different collection states. Unknown cards remain hidden, discovered cards that are not currently owned can appear in grayscale, and acquired cards are shown as part of the player's collection. Players can select known cards and inspect their designed appearance, complete artwork, information, and card back.

The Album also records the first known acquisition date of owned cards and can display collection progress, helping every new discovery feel like a lasting achievement.

• Collection States: Clearly distinguish unknown, discovered, unowned, Fusion-created, and currently owned cards.
• Persistent Discovery History: Keep discovered-card information connected to Card Duel System save data.
• Acquisition Dates: Record and display when an owned card was first registered in the Album.
• Detailed Card Inspection: Review the designed card, its complete artwork, card information, and its back.
• Collection Progress: Show owned, discovered, and total card counts with optional animated progress bars.
• Progress for Events: Store an owned or discovered completion value in a game variable as a count or percentage.
• Quick Card Navigation: Visit a specific Card ID through a dedicated popup with configurable keyboard and gamepad shortcuts.
• Studio Book Designer: Customize the Album title, cover, pages, card slots, layout, environment, lighting, camera, and presentation from Card Duel Studio.
• Localized Album Content: Configure Album titles and player-facing text for the languages available in your Studio project.
• Additional Plugin Settings: Adjust text, sound effects, optional music, colors, interface details, animation timing, rendering quality, and compatibility behavior.
• Flexible Controls: Supports keyboard, compatible gamepads, mouse, and touch input with device-aware prompts.

Differences between the Versions

Card Album Expansion Pack is currently available as a Full release. There is no separate Demo version available at this time.

The Full version contains the complete Card Album experience, including all Studio configuration tools, plugin commands, customization parameters, and supported collection features described on this page.

Full versions receive feature updates and direct support. Remember that support is always provided for the most recent available version of the plugin.

Compatibility and Documentation

This Expansion Pack requires Card Duel System v1.2.0 or newer and Card Duel Studio v1.5.0 or newer. Keep the Expansion Pack below the main plugin in the Plugin Manager.
