Deck Builder Plus Expansion Pack is not a standalone plugin. It requires Card Duel System v1.3.0 or newer and Card Duel Studio v1.6.0 or newer, which is included with the main Card Duel System product.

What is an Expansion Pack?

An Expansion Pack, or EP, is an optional add-on created to extend Card Duel System with a focused new feature. It uses the cards, languages, artwork, and project information already managed by Card Duel Studio, then adds its own configuration options and runtime functionality.

Expansion Packs do not replace or include the main Card Duel System plugin. They are designed for developers who want to expand their card game with additional systems while keeping everything connected to the same Studio project.

Plugin Details: Deck Builder Plus Expansion Pack

Deck Builder Plus Expansion Pack extends the standard Card Duel System Deck Manager with multiple named deck presets. Players can create, activate, rename, duplicate, edit, and delete decks from one modern interface without leaving the familiar deck-building flow.

A responsive active deck bar appears above the standard Deck Manager panels, allowing players to see the deck currently in use, move between available presets, and open complete deck management. Each preset keeps its own card setup, while the selected active deck remains fully connected to the original Card Duel System rules.

Before a preset is activated, the Expansion Pack checks the player's current card collection. If the required copies are not owned, the deck remains safely stored and the player receives a clear message explaining what is missing.

• Integrated Active Deck Bar: Display the current deck through an expanded, compact, or hidden presentation above the regular Deck Manager panels.
• Safe Collection Validation: Prevent a deck from being activated when the player does not own the card copies it requires, without deleting or changing the saved preset.
• Flexible New Deck Behavior: Start new decks empty or automatically copy the cards from the active deck.
• Deck Previews and Editing: Review the selected preset and open it directly in the Card Duel System Deck Manager to adjust its cards.
• Persistent Save Integration: Keep deck presets connected to each save file and upgrade existing saves with a configurable initial deck name.
• Adaptable Visual Style: Match the live colors, rows, borders, accents, corner sizes, and focus effects of the core Deck Manager or use a separate customized appearance.
• Customizable Name Entry: Use direct keyboard typing or an included virtual keyboard with QWERTY and alphabetical layouts.
• Additional Plugin Settings: Adjust deck limits, player-facing text, interface symbols, colors, dimensions, animations, sound effects, input shortcuts, and compatibility behavior.
• Flexible Controls: Supports keyboard, compatible gamepads, mouse, and touch input with device-aware prompts.

Differences between the Versions

Deck Builder Plus Expansion Pack is currently available as a Full release. There is no separate Demo version available at this time.

The Full version contains the complete multi-deck experience, including deck creation, activation, renaming, duplication, deletion, card editing, collection validation, customization parameters, and supported control options described on this page.

Full versions receive feature updates and direct support. Remember that support is always provided for the most recent available version of the plugin.

Compatibility and Documentation

This Expansion Pack requires Card Duel System v1.3.0 or newer and Card Duel Studio v1.6.0 or newer. Keep Deck Builder Plus Expansion Pack below the main plugin in the Plugin Manager.

Deck Builder Plus is accessed from the standard Card Duel System Deck Manager. It does not add plugin commands or a separate workspace inside Card Duel Studio.

The plugin, its parameters, and its technical documentation are provided in English. Player-facing text and the Expansion Pack's additional settings can be adjusted through the Plugin Manager.
