Card Shop Expansion Pack is not a standalone plugin. It requires Card Duel System v1.2.0 or newer. Its main configuration is created with Card Duel Studio v1.5.0 or newer, which is included with the main Card Duel System product.

Plugin Overview

What is an Expansion Pack?

An Expansion Pack, or EP, is an optional add-on created to extend Card Duel System with a focused new feature. It uses the cards, languages, artwork, and project information already managed by Card Duel Studio, then adds its own configuration tools and runtime functionality.

Expansion Packs do not replace or include the main Card Duel System plugin. They are designed for developers who want to expand their card game with additional systems while keeping everything connected to the same Studio project.

Plugin Details: Card Shop Expansion Pack

Card Shop Expansion Pack turns the cards from your Card Duel System project into complete in-game stores. You can create multiple shops, choose the cards sold by each one, define their prices, control when each card is available, and decide how many copies a player may purchase.

Every shop can have its own identity. A small village merchant can offer basic cards for Gold, while a tournament counter can exchange rare cards for a custom currency stored in a game variable.

Players browse the available stock through an animated card presentation, review card information before buying, choose a quantity, and receive clear visual feedback when the purchase is completed.

• Multiple Card Shops: Create different shops and open the one you need by using its Studio reference name or ID.
• Custom Stock: Choose which cards from your Card Duel System project are sold in each shop.
• Flexible Prices: Use fixed prices or connect a card price to a game variable.
• Gold and Custom Currencies: Use the normal game currency or create reusable currencies connected to game variables, with optional custom names and images.
• Purchase Limits: Limit how many copies of a card may be purchased and choose whether sold-out cards remain visible.
• Sale Conditions: Control card availability with flexible condition groups that are checked when the shop opens and after purchases.
• Card Inspection: Let players review the designed card, its back, and its complete artwork before purchasing.
• Animated Presentation: Includes a cinematic card carousel, transitions, hover feedback, popups, and a purchase celebration.
• Localized Shop Content: Configure public shop names and currency names for the languages available in your Studio project.
• Customizable Experience: Adjust text, colors, music, sound effects, camera behavior, animation timing, and rendering options through plugin parameters.
• Flexible Controls: Supports keyboard, compatible gamepads, mouse, and touch input with device-aware prompts.

Differences between the Versions

Card Shop Expansion Pack is currently available as a Full release. There is no separate Demo version available at this time.

The Full version contains the complete Card Shop experience, including all Studio configuration tools, plugin commands, customization parameters, and supported shop features described on this page.

Full versions receive feature updates and direct support. Remember that support is always provided for the most recent available version of the plugin.

Compatibility and Documentation

This Expansion Pack requires Card Duel System v1.2.0 or newer and Card Duel Studio v1.5.0 or newer. Keep the Expansion Pack below the main plugin in the Plugin Manager.

The plugin, its parameters, and its technical documentation are provided in English. Player-facing text can be adjusted through the plugin parameters, while shop and currency localizations can be managed through Card Duel Studio.
