NPCs... Those non-playable characters that every RPG game has, and that help our game seem much more alive and don't make us feel abandoned in the middle of nowhere...
From the typical mission of collecting 3 apples to the NPC who sacrifices himself for the good of the plot, they usually have one characteristic in common:
They tend to be quite static.
That's why with this plugin we are going to give them a little more life, and also add a new mechanic to our game:
The NPC accompaniment.
Thanks to this plugin, we can have "Special" group members that are NPCs that do not access all the characteristics of the normal group, such as Equipment, Skills, and other things, because of course... They are NPCs,
and therefore, they should not access these functionalities.

We have developed this plugin so that you create NPCs from the database, like any other member of the group, and that you apply the special characteristics of NPC to it, with the parameters of the plugin.
Use Examples
- Escort the Seller to the city:
Suppose you are traveling and suddenly enter a complicated area, and suddenly you see that there is an object Seller surrounded by 4 goblins who want to assault him.
The typical "Escort the NPC" mission would be very simple if we simply activate a Switch and the NPC magically appears in the city.
Thanks to this plugin, we can literally travel together with the NPC to take him to the city AND protect him from possible attacks during the journey!
Because if the NPC dies on us... We are left without a Seller...
- NPCs have better access than you:
Yes... That NPC who did not dedicate himself to killing dragons, but dedicated his whole life to a boring job as a Security Guard, which will allow you to access forbidden areas thanks to the fact that he is watching and guarding you so that you do not get into where you should not.
- NPCs as Vehicles?:

Differences between the Versions

Omg this plugin is amazing!! My fingers are itching to get a hold of it, lol! But I'm using VisuStella's Main Menu core; will NPC actions still show up there, if added through your plugin?

I don't usually use the Visustella suite, since, as I've mentioned many times, it's very difficult to work with because all its code is encrypted, but I suppose it should work.
Maybe some adjustments might be necessary. But I guess it should work correctly as long as essential RPG Maker MZ modules aren't replaced.

I'm very interested in this plugin.
There's a moment in my game where the heroes are escorting a scientist, and I think this plugin could help. Just one question: The scientist NPC isn't a fighter, so I don't want to see him in the fight scene. If all the other party members are dead, can I still get the end-of-game screen? (Even if the NPC is alive)
Is possible with your plugin ?

I'm not fully understanding what you need, but I'll go ahead and try to explain a bit better what the plugin does, and maybe that will answer your question:
Let me explain—this plugin allows you, as shown in the video, to have certain group members act as NPCs. This means you can set them so they don't appear in battle and/or you can trigger events when this NPC dies, whether inside or outside of battle.
If you activate the option for this NPC to not participate in battles, then the game won't load them into battle, and only the "normal" allies and/or the NPCs with this option disabled will appear in combat.
As a result, if all the "active" combat members die, the game should normally trigger the Game Over screen, because of how RPG MAKER works; when all active members in a battle die, the game ends.
I'm fine, I work on my game when I have time (which doesn't happen much at the moment haha)
