Undermax Games, you did fantastic job! I'm very happy that you entered the RM scene, you are another diamond in the plugins field. Thank you for your work. Btw, I wanted to ask...
Referring to this plugin, would it be possible to "storage texts" that the player enters in the game? What I mean is something like a notebook in which the player can make notes during the game and they are remembered / can be recalled.
Hello, thank you for your kind words. I'm really glad to hear that you like the plugins. I put a lot of effort into creating things that don't currently exist, haven't been ported, or are interesting to work on.
I'm not entirely sure I understood your question, but what this plugin does is fetch text from a URL (RAW) and allows you to display it in a game window or store that information in a variable for you to use as needed.
You can achieve this by using the plugin's included commands:
Greetings, and I hope I have answered your question!
I just came across your plugins, not gonna lie they all look so good I want to buy everything! I have a question first: Let's say I connected a url to the plugin, -If I change the text in the url, will it dynamically change in-game as I'm playing? -What would happen if the player loses their internet at the moment of playing? Thank you!
Indeed, the plugin loads remotely every time you use the plugin command. If you make changes, you should be able to see those changes in real-time.
Keep in mind that due to the intricacies of how the internet works, including DNS, caching, and update times, the changes may not be 100% instantaneous. However, I can assure you that the plugin dynamically retrieves information.
The plugin also has support for scenarios where the user doesn't have internet access or there's a connection error. In such cases, it prevents the connection and returns an error message like "connection error" for the Open Online Text Window, or you can activate a switch when making a fetch (a request). If there's no connection for any reason, this switch is triggered, and you can then handle conditions as usual in your events. You can find more information about this in the plugin's help section.
Sounds fantastic! I wanted to ask, is there an option to edit the path(url) ingame? I mean, the player can enter url to display your own text, for example?
Hello! I'm glad you like the plugin. You define a Base URL, within there, all content is configured inside the URL. In the full version you can use online text command to use a text inside another url. It is difficult to explain but easy to understand. Everything is used from plugin commands, so you can change the Base URL as many times as necessary. I sincerely recommend that you try it because it is very complex to explain in text.
Thanks for the support! If you need any information about how it is used, or find any need to be able to add it to the system, tell me and I will try to solve them. I send you a greeting!

Nice plugin! I bought it :D
It's not necessary for the project I'm developing now, but it'll come in handy when I make a bigger project later!
Thank you for making a great plugin.
